Job duties:

• Managing the daily operations and activities of the jewelry store.
• Managing employees and providing them with guidance and direction concerning their daily work requirements.
• Planning and preparing work schedules for the store's employees.
• Assigning specific duty requirements of the store to employees while ensuring that they meet and follow company guidelines and regulations.
• Facilitating training sessions for the employees regarding products and merchandise.
• Conducting performance reviews of the employees.
• Promoting and advertising the store and its products.
• Tracking and recording the store's sales and revenue.
• Hiring and training middle managers, directors, and other executive staffmembers.
• Representing the company, or delegating representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other business functions.

• Experience in jewelry design and repair
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Knowledgeable in:
• Technical grading
• Evaluating diamonds
• Diamond grading methodologies
• GIA standards
• Sizing
• People management skills
• Experience in leading management teams, engaging with staffat all levels and transitioning a startup to an independent, corporate business
• Having held manager or directorlevel positions and above is preferred
• Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills

Required education:A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided ispreferred

Required work experience:5+ years of managerial experience in the jewelry industry
