Facility Maintenance Technician - Fort McMurray, Canada - Hines Facilities Services Ltd
Description
Responsibilities:
Perform general facility maintenance and repairs from painting, changing light bulbs, system checks at various locations within Fort McMurray
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any potential issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions
- Knowledge of logic controllers and industrial electrician skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various equipment and systems
