Position:
Dispatcher
The Dispatcher is responsible for the coordination of the shipment process from origin to destination.

This position will be responsible for the following:

Manage all aspects of the shipments from start to finish, including receiving, inventory control, and scheduling.
Responsible for ensuring all shipments are delivered on time and meet customer's expectations.
Ensure all trucks are properly loaded with load cards and ensure loads are picked up in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring all trucks are properly maintained and that the company is properly maintaining the trucks.
Responsible for ensuring all trucks are properly inspected and that they are cleaned on a regular basis.
Assist customers with their orders and communicate any issues that may arise.
Assist customers with their orders and any issues that may arise.
Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history.
Previous experience in transportation or logistics industry preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
