The Maintenance Lead oversees a team of 2-3 maintenance team members responsible for eliminating minor stops and breakdown related losses.

The Maintenance Lead is a self-starter who ensures proper maintenance and repair of specialized process and packaging equipment is being completed.

This role will be responsible for answering maintenance calls, performing preventative maintenance (PM's), and making line improvements throughout the facility.

We are currently hiring for afternoon shift 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday to Friday. We are also
offering a $3,000 sign on bonus.


Primary Job Duties

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance millwrights and electricians engaged in setup, install, repair, and maintaining of machinery, provides training on equipment, and keeps personnel records.
• Handle various areas of business repair and aids in the implementation of maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement objectives to improve safety, quality, and throughput processes.
• Ensure all work plans, specifications, labour & materials are accurately & consistently recorded against specified assets in our internal Maintenance tracking system.

Basic Job Requirements:

• 12 years of supervisory experience (lead hand or supervisor for maintenance team)
• Physically capable of heavy lifting 50 lbs. or more
• Licensed 433A industrial maintenance mechanic
• Proof of completion of apprenticeship program through a certified college
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have positive leadership/mentoring qualities and skills.

$42.10-$43.10 per hour
