Description

Our Finance Department is seeking a precise, industrious professional to join their team on a full-time basis.

Specifically, you will work in the area of accounts receivable alongside processing all types of cash receipting and balancing of payments; process homeowner grants; balance a variety of financial records and ledgers; maintain the property master file tax records; calculate property tax and utility balances; and respond to a variety of customer inquiries among other duties.

Qualifications:

Along with your considerable knowledge of the principles, procedures, policies and regulations applicable to professional accounting practices, you must be self-motivated and task-orientated with advanced proficiency in MS Office, MAIS, Tempest, Unit 4, or similar financial software and have knowledge of EDP systems and procedures.

Additional Information:

The January 1, 2024 rate of pay for this position is $36.57 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package including the Municipal Pension Plan.

We offer a nine-day fortnight schedule (extended hours for nine days and one day off every two weeks).
