StarforceHR is currently recruiting on behalf of their client in Scarborough.

If you are a forklift operator with a valid license and
Raymond Reach, Counterbalance, and
Order Picker experience of a minimum 3 years, this full-time opportunity could be for you.


Day Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:


  • Unloading, inspecting, checking weights, sampling, recording, locating inventory and bulk unloading.
  • Communicates Shortages.
  • Wrapping product; locating, moving and/or storing product.
  • Delivering product, bag dump and transferring product.
  • Participate in ensuring safe working environment, and safe working practices.
  • Operates in a safe manner at all time and reports hazards in a timely manner.
  • Assists with other duties as required.
  • Unpack and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments.
  • Operate lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shippingandreceiving platform to storage or work area.
  • All other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:


  • 3 years experience in a warehouse
  • Valid license to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Food Manufacturing Experience is an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$21.19 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
