- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Lead the business planning process for the water teams within the Sustainable Development team for budget and ensure deliverables are on time and properly documented
- Responsible for the external financial reporting requirements for water such as Reclamation, Liability and Cost Estimates (RLCE) and Decommissioning and Restoration Provision (DRP)
- Responsible for the site cost allocation deliverables to support budget and business planning allocations
- Manage consultants to support external cost estimates
- Ensure that reporting requirements meet accounting standards and regulatory requirements and identify gaps and propose mitigation options
- Support with responses to regulators related to financial deliverables
- Support other teams with cost related information for major projects
- Responsible for the updates and maintenance of the various water projects calculators
- Provide presentations to managers and other team members to approve several processes
- Continually improve existing processes to streamline decision making
- Ensure management of change processes are followed and formal documentation including cost summary reports and decision making memos
- Degree in finance, accounting or project management, or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum five years experience in similar industries
- Strong digital proficiency in analytics including: Excel,Power BI, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Teck employees receive a competitive compensation package that includes, but is not limited to, base salary plus the following benefits:
Salary Range: $103,000 - $127,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
