    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a project aimed at transitioning to a new system platform. This role will involve working concurrently with different project workstreams and/or business stakeholders. The primary responsibility of the Analyst will be to understand the business requirements of the project, collaborate with stakeholders and the Master Data Management (MDM) teams to comprehend their specific requirements, perform data gaps assessment and recommendations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

    Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows pertaining to Master Data Functions and expectations.

    The ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements.

    Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.

    Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges. Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.

    Serve as a liaison between project team and MDM stakeholders.

    Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.

    Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, user stories and SOPs.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

    Provide training and overview of future state processes as needed.

    Collaborate with project managers to define MDM project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

    Assist in MDM project planning and estimation.

    Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan.

    Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

    Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.

    Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

    Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.

    Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.

    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

    Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous.

    Knowledge of SAP is an asset

    The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States.     • Maintenir une documentation précise et à jour tout au long du cycle de vie du projet. Fournir une formation et une vue d'ensemble des processus futurs si nécessaire.
    • Collaborer avec les chefs de projet pour définir la portée, les objectifs et les produits livrables du projet MDM.
    • Aider à la planification et à l'estimation du projet MDM.
    • Supporter l'avancement du projet et identifier les risques ou les écarts par rapport au plan.
    • Participer aux test des systèmes, aux tests d'acceptation par les utilisateurs et à la validation des solutions mises en œuvre.
    • Veiller à ce que les solutions fournies répondent aux exigences spécifiées et soient de grande qualité.

    Qualifications :

    • Licence en administration des affaires, en technologie de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe (une maîtrise est un atout).
