Reporting into the Manager, Quality Improvement, the Program Evaluation Coordinator will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders including, leadership, teams and relevant partners, to support the evaluation and review a variety of programs, services, systems, and processes to strengthen child and family mental health and additions, and community services through clearer clinical pathways, effective and efficient services, and strong sector and cross-sector partnerships in Halton.


Please note that this is a full-time contract position,
working 35 hours weekly with a
planned end date of April 1st, 2024.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Evaluation

  • Liaise and consult with Senior Team, Directors, Program Managers and program staff in designing, implementing and managing evaluation plans, methods, tools and approaches to measure program/services structure, modalities, process, outcome, impact, and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of professional, meaningful and purposeful quantitative and qualitative data, including file audits and the review of clinical documentation and practices.
  • Conduct clinical reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and critically develop appropriate and relevant recommendations for implementation and change.
  • When requested, serve as an independent reviewer to complete a comprehensive file review to support the identification of opportunities for improvement in services and systems as a result of ROCK's Critical Incident Review process.
  • Manage and maintain evaluation data and repots practices including the analysis of data available in client information system and other data sources, to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and services.

Project Management

  • Implement and execute project plans by ensuring all aspects of projects run smoothly and efficiently, develop accurate timelines, track completion of tasks, track budget/expenses and oversee progress of the project/program.
  • Effectively manage issues and risks by anticipating threats and maximizing opportunities within the project.
  • Manage the daytoday tactical aspects of clinical projects including priority and goal setting, execution and follow up of tasks, documentation, meeting schedule, etc.

Quality Improvement

  • Work closely with leadership and teams to optimize program and service delivery as well as internal business processes leading up to efficiencies and improved client experience.
  • Engage with, facilitate and assist teams and leadership in investigating root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Develop proposals for change and communicate how proposed changes will benefit the organization.
  • Support programs and services to plan, design and implement new or changes to processes, programs and services.
  • Prepare written materials to communicate concepts, plan and present results to various audiences.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of client safety practices across the agency, identify and bring client safety issues to senior management for review, and champion client safety initiatives, as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with the specific requirements of Section 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as any further health and safety responsibilities as outlined in the Agency policy and procedure documents.
  • Other duties as may be reasonably required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:_
  • Postsecondary/bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant discipline in clinical field
  • Registered in good standing with the relevant college
  • Completion of a Master's Degree is an asset
  • Formal training in Project Management is an asset.
  • Experience:_
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant experience in planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive evaluations including knowledge of theories, principles, and methodologies of how program evaluation supports the delivery of health programming
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in providing assessment, individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents and/or their families.
  • Relevant experience and comfort in preparing content and delivering presentations to all levels within the organization, from leaders to front line and clients.
