- Coordinate with crossfunctional project teams across the organization to plan, coordinate and manage technology projects ranging from software development, integration, implementation, and process improvement
- Manage multiple, various sized projects simultaneously
- Adopt the most appropriate management structures for projects and ensure all key project stakeholders are informed and involved
- Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, plans, schedules and timelines, facilitate meetings and workshops and communicate project milestone progress on a regular basis; ensure technical feasibility
- Create and maintain formal and informal plans, schedules and timelines including project charter, user manuals and other documentation at the appropriate level of detail required for individual projects
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for project team members specific to the initiative and ensure resource availability and allocation
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying, documenting, evaluating, mitigating and managing, and appropriately communicating risks and issues.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure a flawless execution of projects
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Manage change in a complex and dynamic environment
- Balance technology and business issues and communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services, businesses, and industry
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project management in a technology focused role
- Proven track record of successful program/project delivery
- Completion of additional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE II, CSM) is considered an asset
- Ability to take and ambiguous ask and work with team members to develop it into a project scope that can be driven to completion
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and influence across organizational boundaries
- Demonstrated knowledge of various project management methodologies
- Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with software implementation projects with a high degree of system integration would be considered an asset
