Manager, Consumer Insights and Analytics - Etobicoke, Canada - Woodbine Entertainment
Description
Reporting to the Sr.Marketing Manager, Wagering, the Manager Consumer Insights and Analytics, will play a key role in driving growth of Woodbine wagering through overseeing the delivery of customer insight and behavior research and effectively evaluating and measuring the impact and performance (ROI) of campaigns, promotions, initiatives, and marketing programs.
Additionally, this role will seek to understand macro and micro industry trends that impact the horseracing landscape across North America and in international marketsKey Responsibilities:
Perform advanced data analysis:
- Utilize data analytics techniques to analyze customer data and extract meaningful insights.
- Employ statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics to uncover patterns and trends.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for marketing strategies.
- Measure campaign performance and ROI:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms to measure marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct indepth analysis of campaign performance, including customer acquisition, conversion rates, and revenue attribution.
- Analyze promotional campaigns to assess their impact on customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance promotion strategies and maximize ROI.
- Calculate and assess ROI to optimize marketing investments and resource allocation.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices:
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in the horseracing industry
Collaborate with external agencies:
- Work closely with external research agencies to define research objectives and methodologies.
- Provide guidance and insights to agencies during the customer research process.
- Manage the relationship with agencies and ensure highquality deliverables.
- Collaborate with external agencies to leverage customer research insights and analyze customer data to segment customers based on demographics, psychographics, and behavior
- Lead the rollout and dissemination of ley learnings and insight to the marketing team and cross functional partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, and generating customer insights.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Python).
- Experience working with external research agencies and managing agency relationships.
- Deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and external agencies.
- Detailoriented, selfmotivated, and able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
