Responsibilities:_
Assembling, combining and cooking ingredients.
Maintaining sanitary kitchen.
Executing food production in accordance with standards of platings guidelines.
Attending the details and presentation of each order.
Preparing ingredients by following recipes including slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, mixing ingredients, adding seasoning, verifying taste and plating.
Adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Maintaining temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Appropriately dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
Stirring leftovers according to established standards.
Coordinates daily food supply inventory.
Stocking food items and other necessary supplies.
Cleaning and sanitizing all cooking surfaces and counter tops at the end of each shift.
Following the checklist and prep-list created to plan duties.
Undertaking basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
Ensuring all food and other items are properly stored.
Performing other kitchen duties as assigned.
Assisting with receipt of deliveries.
Assisting with the orientation of new employees.
Ensuring smooth operation of service.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
$21.00-$26.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Discounted or free food
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
