JOB DESCRIPTION:


Rideout Tool and Machine INC is an established distributor of Atlas Copco Air Compressors, Piranha ironworkers, bandsaws, shears, bending machines ,brake presses, drill presses, and related wood working machinery throughout the Maritimes.


JOB REQUIRES:


On-site and Field Service Technician to install, repair and provide preventative maintenance on various machinery within HRM and Nova Scotia.

A company vehicle will be provided during work hours and on-site training will also be provided.


Responsibilities

  • Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
  • Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
  • Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required (Clean Driving Abstract)
  • Ability to travel outside HRM (mainly day trips)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

BACKGROUND IN A MECHANICAL, MILLWRIGHT, ELECTRICAL, AUTOMOTIVE TRADE WOULD BE AN ASSET:

  • Comfortable working around electrical equipment up to 600 volts, 3 phase.
