- A minimum of a master's degree in education (M.Ed.) or equivalent education and years of experience
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in education, including teaching and/or academic leadership (e.g., program coordinator, department leadership).
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development.
- Experience working with Indigenous learners, communities, and/or Indigenous education contexts.
- Familiarity with Ontario's post-secondary landscape and quality frameworks (e.g., college/university QA, Indigenous Institute partnerships).
- Principal Qualifications would be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-program operations, team supervision, and academic quality/assurance.
- Operations & Process Improvement: Scheduling, workload optimization, budget awareness.
- Academic Quality & Curriculum: Outcome-based design, assessment, and program review.
- Culturally Responsive Practice: Ability to honour Indigenous knowledge systems; experience engaging Elders/Knowledge Keepers.
- Leadership & People Management: Coaching, performance feedback, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Student-Centered Approach: Commitment to accessibility and trauma-informed practices.
- Data Literacy: Able to interpret program and student success metrics to drive decisions.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Excellent written and verbal communication; effective stakeholder and partnership management.
- Organization & Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple programs/projects and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, MS Word).
- Knowledge of Anishinaabek culture and traditions.
- Ability to work independently in-office and when working remotely

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Associate Dean of Post-Secondary Education Partner Programs provides academic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, culturally grounded programs and a seamless learner experience. Working under and alongside the Dean of Post-Secondary Education Partner Programs, the Associate Dean of Partner Programs oversees day-to-day program operations, directly supervises all Post-Secondary Education partner program team members, ensures programs run efficiently, supports faculty excellence, and collaborates across the PSE team for smooth, reliable operations. This position is expected to support the organizational philosophies and ensure they are reflected in all programs, services, and practices.
