    Your Opportunity:

    The Volunteer Resources Retail Volunteer Coordinator will provide personalized support to all volunteers, in every phase of their engagement with AHS. The Retail Volunteer Coordinator will have significant interaction with potential and accepted volunteers, always contributing to the ongoing strategic goals of AHS and Volunteer Resources. While specifically supporting retail store operations volunteer sourcing activities as well as engaging, evaluating and refining the management of competent volunteer pools, the Retail Volunteer Coordinator will be organized, deliberate and relentless in the approach to support the resolution of challenges related to volunteer talent demands at AHS. The Retail Volunteer Coordinator will research, trial, execute and evaluate a variety of attraction and engagement strategies that support a sustainable, continuous pipeline of quality talent available to retail store operations that average an annual donation of ~$600K to $800K across 6 sites / 8 stores.

    As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

    Required Qualifications:

    Some post-secondary education.

    Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

    Basic awareness of related legislation and best practices in volunteer management.Experience planning, developing and implementing full cycle volunteer management strategies. Excellent knowledge of Volunteer Management computer software.Healthcare experience and an understanding of the concepts of Patient and Family Centred Care principles an asset.Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple competing assignments.
