Job Purpose
The IT Support Specialist will oversee the maintenance, configuration, and dependable functionality of all computer systems and servers. The role includes ensuring that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the managed computers fulfill user requirements. Additionally, the IT Specialist will conduct research and propose necessary software and hardware recommendations for installation or upgrades.


Duties and Responsibilities

General Duties & Responsibilities

System Analysis and Integration

  • Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments.

System Maintenance and Security

  • Install and configure new hardware and software.
  • Manage user account information, including password resets.
  • Conduct routine audits of systems and software.
  • Troubleshoot reported problems.
  • Optimize system performance.
  • Ensure network infrastructure functionality.
  • Configure, add, and remove file systems.

User Support and Documentation

  • Address technical inquiries and provide user assistance.
  • Document the system configuration.
