KP Building Products, a member of the Kaycan Group of companies is seeking
Production Operators to join our teams at our Acton, facility.
Schedule:
- ROTATING SCHEDULE EVERY 2
WEEKS:
Continental shifts:
- 12hour rotating 8:00am to 8:00pm / 8:00pm to 8:00am
- Every other weekend off
Salary starting at:
$20.90/h with regular pay increases
Premium:
Weekend and Night shift premiums
:$1.00/h
Requirements:
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience not required, full training will be provided

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all product packaged has proper barcode, label, quantity and nesting pattern
- Immediate notification of quality problems to operator, lead hand operator or Supervisor
- Record information on Quality Record Sheets
- Responsible for housekeeping in work area
- Arrive at work station on time and remain at work station until relief arrives
- Assist other operators on the line, as needed
- Follow all plant rules and safety regulations
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Experience programming and operating CNC machines
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work
- Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design purposes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to use hand tools to assemble components
