("WFW"), a Sunbelt Rentals Company, the largest movie equipment rental company, is looking for a Fleet/Camera Dolly Maintenance Technician to join us.

With offices across the country, WFW services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and houses an extensive state-of-the-art inventory.

Our job is to help bring the magic of storytelling to life, by supporting our clients as their go-to Partners in Production.

The ideal Fleet/Camera Dolly Maintenance Technician is a team player, forward thinker, and is key to our operational workflow.

The Fleet / Dolly Maintenance Technician adheres to best practices for the diagnosis and repair on a variety of fleet equipment for rent.

The Fleet/Dolly Maintenance Technician works closely with shop and maintenance department.

This a full-time, permanent position located in Winnipeg. Hours of work is 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday. There may be some alterations to the schedule to accommodate operational needs.


Responsibilities as a Fleet/Camera Dolly Maintenance Technician

  • Maintain camera dolly and accessories to suppliers' specifications
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, lifting devices, generators etc.)
  • Perform regular maintenance as per manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Coordinate and maintain vehicle repair orders/equipment repair records to MTO standards on all fleet repairs.
  • Prepare Fleet/Dolly equipment for rental (Check Out) and receive equipment from customer on return (Check In).
  • Assist in the coordination of vehicles deliveries for PMCVI and Drive Clean Inspections to and from vendors
  • 247 Emergency Customer Service Contact
  • Ability to travel to US for training provided from the manufacturers

Education/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on

  • Must have a working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license with a clean abstract (class 3 license as an asset)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods and certified forklift truck operator are considered assets
  • Working knowledge of various types of equipment including. but not limited to, diesel generators, trailers, and commercial trucks
