The Customer Service Attendant plays an important role, providing quality leisure programs, services and facilities to our military members and their families.
Our services are tailored to help families with the challenges they may face due to military life and make the most of everyday activities such as going to the playground or gym.
We believe that when members of the Canadian Armed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home and at work.
Whether families need to sign the kids up for swimming lessons, improve their fitness, make friends in a new community, our services are here to help.
As a Customer Service Attendant each day will be different as you manage access to the facility, answer customer inquiries and oversee services such as membership sales while maintaining a cash float and providing daily sales reports.
You will book facilities and programs, controlling the use of sports and recreation equipment while providing guidance to customers on the operation of the equipment, performing minor maintenance when required and help ensure the cleanliness of the equipment and facility.

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification

OTHER INFORMATION
Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).
Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector - must be valid within the last six (6) months
Language testing to meet job profile.
This position has a flexible schedule: 37.5 hours/ week (combination of days, nights and weekends) from April - September each year and 27 hours/ week (combination of days, nights and weekends) from October - March each year.
Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the UFCW local 175 bargaining unit at CFSG Ottawa-Gatineau.
