Equipment
Purchaser/Estimator to service our clients in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Reporting Structure:
The
Equipment Purchaser/Estimator reports directly to the General Construction Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing drawings and schedules regarding the equipment for the projects
- Putting together spreadsheets with all equipment pricing from wholesalers
- Putting together shop drawing packages for the equipment
- Coordinating budgets and equipment selection with Project Managers/Controls engineer.
- Dealing with General Contractors, Representatives and Suppliers to verify pricing/products
- Creating a procurement spreadsheet to track the submittal process and delivery dates
- Purchasing equipment and coordinating deliveries
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process
Qualifications and Experience
years of experience in Purchasing and Estimating
- Experience in a mechanical construction company considered an asset
- Experience in Design-Build company considered an asset
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
- Knowledge of ViewPoint Spectrum ERP considered an asset
- Knowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam considered an asset
