Our Operations Team is looking for
Equipment
Purchaser/Estimator to service our clients in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Reporting Structure:
The
Equipment Purchaser/Estimator reports directly to the General Construction Manager.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing drawings and schedules regarding the equipment for the projects
Putting together spreadsheets with all equipment pricing from wholesalers
Putting together shop drawing packages for the equipment
Coordinating budgets and equipment selection with Project Managers/Controls engineer.
Dealing with General Contractors, Representatives and Suppliers to verify pricing/products
Creating a procurement spreadsheet to track the submittal process and delivery dates
Purchasing equipment and coordinating deliveries
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process

Qualifications and Experience
years of experience in Purchasing and Estimating

Experience in a mechanical construction company considered an asset
Experience in Design-Build company considered an asset
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
Knowledge of ViewPoint Spectrum ERP considered an asset
Knowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam considered an asset
