Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your expertise in food preparation and handling will ensure that our customers receive high-quality and delicious meals.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu
- Follow recipes and ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory and waste
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and customer preferences
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- Every Weekend
