Job Title: Agent de Projet - Sanajiit

Key Responsibilities

The Agent de Projet works in collaboration with the Project Coordinator to facilitate interactions between entrepreneurs and workers in construction within Nunavik.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communication between employers and employees
• Organizing and monitoring apprenticeship programs
• Promoting construction trades and recruiting participants
• Promoting training activities and supporting local employment agents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A college diploma or equivalent experience
• Communication skills in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English, French
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Willingness to travel across 14 communities in Nunavik
• Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
• Experience working in multicultural environments, especially with Indigenous communities or in the North, is a plus

Work Environment

The work location for this role is Kuujjuaq.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• Minimum $40,959 and maximum $67,844 annually
• Cost of Living Allowance: at least $8,500/year
• Food allowance: at least $3,453/year
• Annual travel allowance: up to 3 trips/person/year
• Retirement plan: employer 6%, employee 4%
• Group insurance
• Vacation: 20 days/year
• Holidays: 19 days, including 10 during the holiday season
