Description

As a Guest Services Agent, your key responsibilities will be:

Ensuring total satisfaction of hotel guests and that each guest is handled with a professional, efficient and welcoming attitude.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel as well as the local surrounding area, attractions and special events.
Be well versed in payment procedures including, how to compute bills, collect payments, and manage a cash float.
Perform simple bookkeeping activities, issue room keys and escort instructions to Bellman.
Posting charges.
Complete and confirm reservations.
Provide information to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person. Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
Perform other duties as required and/or requested by direct Supervisor or upper Management.

Requirements for this position include;

A high school diploma
Good verbal and written skills
Basic computer skills
The ability to work well on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in an organized manner with a strong emphasis to detail with mínimal to no supervision.

Experience as a Guest Services Agent is an asset.
