Description
As a Guest Services Agent, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring total satisfaction of hotel guests and that each guest is handled with a professional, efficient and welcoming attitude.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel as well as the local surrounding area, attractions and special events.
  • Be well versed in payment procedures including, how to compute bills, collect payments, and manage a cash float.
  • Perform simple bookkeeping activities, issue room keys and escort instructions to Bellman.
  • Posting charges.
  • Complete and confirm reservations.
  • Provide information to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person. Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or requested by direct Supervisor or upper Management.
Requirements for this position include;

  • A high school diploma
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to work well on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in an organized manner with a strong emphasis to detail with mínimal to no supervision.
Experience as a Guest Services Agent is an asset.
