Description

Duties

  • Maintaining and updating files and records
  • Answering calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
  • Using office equipment like
  • Arranging appointments and managing calendars
  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks like invoicing and issuing checks

Skills:


  • Proficiency with basic accounting and office procedures
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency with office software like Microsoft Office Suite/Sage 50
  • Payroll experience
  • Efficient typing
  • Diplomacy and tact with clients
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 24-30 per week


Salary:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lakeshore, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:


  • Front desk: 1 year (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
