Duties
- Maintaining and updating files and records
- Answering calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
- Using office equipment like
- Arranging appointments and managing calendars
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks like invoicing and issuing checks
Skills:
- Proficiency with basic accounting and office procedures
- Oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Proficiency with office software like Microsoft Office Suite/Sage 50
- Payroll experience
- Efficient typing
- Diplomacy and tact with clients
- Knowledge of standard office equipment
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week
Salary:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lakeshore, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
