Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant.
As a Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in prepping and sanding millwork for finishing and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the shop.
Duties:
- Wrapping, loading, and unloading pieces
- Sand and prepare wood for primer and final coats
- Sweep and maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and loading merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Skills:
- Sanding experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
