Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists, to deliver integrated care.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical fitness levels, medical histories, and lifestyle factors.
Design customized exercise programs to address clients' goals, whether it's improving mobility, strength, flexibility, or overall fitness.
Guide and instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and ensure their safety during sessions.
Monitor and track clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their programs.
Provide education and guidance on injury prevention, postrehabilitation, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Maintain accurate and uptodate client records and documentation.
Stay uptodate with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of kinesiology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field.
Certification or registration as a Kinesiologist in Alberta.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent administrative and computer skills with the ability to deal with unique electronic medical records systems
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
Experience in designing and implementing exercise programs for diverse populations.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Passion for promoting health and wellness through exercise and movement.
