Title : Service Shop Technician (Temporary 6 months, renewable)Work location : Kenworth Montreal (7500 Rte Transcanadienne, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1A5, Canada)Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PMSalary: between $22-44/hourBenefits :

• Permanent, 40h/week ;
• Monday to Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PM (8h/day) ;
• Salary between $22-44/hour, depending on exprience ;
• 2 weeks of vacation after first year ;

Summary of responsibilities:

• Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles;
• Diagnose and repair the pneumatic system, the electrical system and the cabin elements;
• Carry out repairs on all vehicle components;
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
• Perform scheduled maintenance services such as; oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups

Qualifications:

• DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
• 3+ years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
• French and English (spoken and reading - functional level) ;
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (class 1 - bonus);
• Possess a tool box as well as your enrolment to the Comité Paritaire d'Automobiles (CPA)
