The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC, located in the beautiful south Okanagan Valley, is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Bylaw Enforcement Officers.
The Town of Osoyoos is accepting applications for a Seasonal Bylaw Officers. These positions perform inspectional, regulatory, and investigational work involving the enforcement of Town Bylaws.
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills with experience and the ability to diffuse hostility effectively.
They will be able to work independently and interdependently while exercising sound judgment and initiative.Proven expertise, thorough knowledge, and the ability to demonstrate the principles, methods, and equipment used in capturing, caring for, handling, and safely transporting injured, vicious, or stray animals would be an asset.
Level 1 Bylaw Compliance, Enforcement, and Investigative Skills Certificate, valid British Columbia driver's licence and ability to pass a criminal record check are required.
