Description
We are looking for an energetic professional to join our NexGen Transportation (NexGen) team on a full-time basis.

The Myshak Group of Companies is an industrial & commercial crane supply company that provides both operated and bare crane equipment rentals serving the Western Canadian market.

Based out of Acheson, we also offer a full line of site support equipment, crane mats as well as warehousing and transportation services.


As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of equipment and field personnel efficiently and safely.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling assignments and coordinating activities for all field personnel to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
  • Assisting with the planning of manpower with project management.
  • Monitoring job performance/completion and ensuring adherence to schedule.
  • Obtaining permits and utility approvals as required
  • Assessing and troubleshooting potential problems/risks and recommending solutions.
  • Assist in Registering new equipment and ensuring all annual permits are adequate.
  • Answering dispatch incoming calls, including afterhours requirements (i.e. oncall, emergency recoveries, etc.).
  • Setting up, planning, and executing jobs through Microsoft Business Central (including customers, equipment, and workforce).
  • Creating and managing purchase orders, permits and other operational paperwork.
  • Managing the proper utilization of equipment.
  • Ensuring that all necessary training credentials are completed before dispatching personnel.
  • Reviewing and approving time sheets.
  • Assisting with the creation of quotes.
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing questions from finance.
  • Coordinating travel requirements for field personnel.
  • Acting as a liaison between field personnel and customers.
  • Building relationships with both field personnel and customers.
  • Assisting with other administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications:


  • Significant experience working within Heavy Haul and/or Specialized Rigging Industries.
  • Must be able to organize and plan tasks, with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture.
  • Must be dependable and committed to ensuring client's (internal and external) needs are met.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in entries and other paperwork.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Asset Qualifications:


  • 12 Years of experience in a dispatcher role.
  • Postsecondary education with a specialization in business administration or project management.

Working Conditions:


  • Overtime and travel may be required.

Pay:
$80,000.00 per year
