Project Overview
I need a professional female voice-over artist to record a 45-minute guided inner child meditation for my OCD recovery coaching programme.
This is a premium product for paying clients, so recording quality and emotional authenticity are essential.
Voice Direction
The tone throughout is warm, gentle, and nurturing — like a safe, loving parent sitting with a child. NOT a "meditation voice" or yoga-teacher cadence. Genuine warmth, not performance.
Key qualities:
Soft and unhurried, but not monotone — the meditation has an emotional arc
Authenticity over polish — each "I'm sorry" and "I love you" in the script should sound like you mean it, not like you're reading it
Comfortable with long silences — some pauses in the script are 30-45 seconds. The silence is intentional and must not be rushed or filled
British or neutral accent preferred
The meditation has 7 phases, each requiring a slightly different vocal quality:
Opening:
very soft, almost sleepy
Middle sections:
warm gratitude, respectful firmness, quiet intimacy
Emotional core:
the most tender the voice gets — almost whispered at points
Closing:
gentle warmth, quiet care
Deliverables
Full 45-minute recording following the script with all pause/silence annotations
WAV file (master quality)
MP3 file (distribution quality)
Recorded in a professional studio or treated home studio with minimal room noise
No background music (may be added in post-production separately)
Single continuous flow preferred, though assembly from sections is acceptable if seamless
What I'll Provide
The complete script with detailed voice direction notes for each phase
Timing annotations for every pause
Phase-by-phase guidance on tone, pace, and emotional quality
I'm available for questions and happy to provide feedback on a test recording of the first 3-5 minutes before you record the full piece
About the Project
This is for a professional coaching practice ). The meditation will be delivered to clients through a private portal. It is not for public/commercial resale. Full credit/attribution can be discussed if desired.
I'm looking for someone who can bring genuine emotional presence to this material — not just technical vocal skill. The content deals with self-compassion, inner child work, and emotional healing. Experience with meditation, mindfulness, or therapeutic content is a strong plus.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
