We are currently hiring for a Learning Programs Coordinator.

The Learning Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of CCUA's education and professional development programs.

The incumbent is also the first point of contact for learners and uses solid listening, understanding, and responding skills to ensure first-contact problem-solving and issue resolution to achieve an exceptional learner experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliverables and Main Supporting Activities:


  • Learning Program Support and Delivery

Responsible for follow-up and follow-through on education and professional development activities, scheduled deliveries, and incoming inquiries to ensure client needs are identified and actioned.

Focus on achieving an exceptional learner experience by providing credit union employees and board directors with learning opportunities and support.


  • Deliver outstanding service to learners and credit union key contacts by proactively responding to procedural or logístical questions ranging from assignment submissions, course requirements, or the next logical product/program of interest.
  • ILT/ELT session setup, delivery, and wrapup. This may include the introduction of the facilitator, providing an overview of the meeting software function, troubleshooting technical issues, such as lack of audio or broken meeting invite links, and tracking of attendance to ensure participants receive credit for the course.
  • Organize communications to participants containing critical information about their passwords to access material, dates or times for sessions, and instructions for accessing course material.
  • Coordinate actions and activities for public and inhouse offerings from initial enrollment through course or program completion
  • Contribute to the Education & Professional Development revenue targets by actively selling the products and services.
  • Collaborate with CCUA Education Operations to fully leverage the digital learning platform.
  • Responsible for ensuring CUIC/CUDA courses, programs, and exams are conducted in accordance with the academic standards set by Dalhousie University
  • Marketing and Product Promotion
Create awareness and a strong call to action for CCUA's products, services, and programs. Provide referrals to the sales team and follow through with marketing and promotion activities. Ensure learner adoption of courses and programs through targeted outbound contact and storytelling.

  • Engage in dialogue with learners to better understand their needs for education and professional development products.
  • Use listening and questioning skills to flag new credit union learning opportunities and forward the opportunities to the Supervisor, Learning Experience & Program Support.
  • Review postsession learner and faculty feedback to identify learners with compelling stories for future marketing and communication efforts.
  • Draft social media, eNews, and learner communication based on CCUA Education and Professional Development program features and benefits and feedback from learners and faculty.
  • Stay current on CCUA's education and professional development content and calendar of program deliveries and continually flag opportunities to the Supervisor Learning Experience & Program Support.
  • Support Digital Transformation

Continue to innovate and research to fully understand how technology brings value to CCUA and our client credit unions, developing and executing new processes or procedures that provide a better experience for learners, credit union clients, and/or internal team members.


  • Seek opportunities for enhancing digital processes, programs, and experiences.
  • Bring forward emerging digital trends that support industryleading learner experiences.
  • Identify and make recommendations to eliminate manual processes and digitize processes when possible.
  • Identify potential barriers to digital adoption at the learner level and make recommendations for digital solutions.
Communication

  • Written and oral presentations to the internal team and to credit union clients as required.
  • Gathers and shares information about learner professional development and education activities.
  • Represents CCUA while hosting virtual or inperson events.
