We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sales Professional. The sales professional will play a crucial role in promoting and selling roofing products and services. Their primary responsibility is to generate leads, build relationships with potential clients and close deals.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through identifying and prospecting potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
- Produce a consistent flow of qualified leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their roofing needs and understand their budget constraints.
- Provide expert advice on roofing materials, styles, and solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare detailed and customized roofing proposals for clients, outlining the scope of work, pricing, and any other relevant terms.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and feasible project proposals.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's expertise, products, and services.
- Address client concerns and objections with confidence and professionalism.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and increase referral business.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes to provide clients with uptodate information.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Work closely with the legal and contracting teams to finalize and execute contracts.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude, displaying strong work ethic and reliability.
Skills & qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in roofing sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, construction methods, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resultsdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
- Prior experience in construction or roofing is a plus but not required.
