Job description
Canada's smallest edibles manufacturing company is looking to expand our team with production assistants. You will be helping to make cannabis-infused cookies and other cannabis products.


What your day looks like?

Your tasks will vary during the day from forming cookies balls, baking, packaging, and will always include sanitation,(room clean up and dishes).

You are going to be on your feet and moving all day ('10,000 steps seems to be where we average) and it can get warm with the ovens being on and wearing the necessary protective equipment.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 8 am-4 pm (we like our weekends too).

We are a new company so procedures may evolve or change over time, to ensure we continuously have a safe environment and excellent tasting of edibles.

If you happen to have an interest in another area of the business we are happy to foster that aspect during the day as well.

Who we are looking for

• Must have reliable personal transportation to Kanata South
• Ability to regularly lift 25 kgs unassisted
• Ability to work on your feet for a long period of time
• Ability to work in a warm environment
• Physically Fit

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating food production machines
• Washing and sanitizing baking equipment
• Taking out hot products from the ovens and racks
• Packing product into bags or boxes
• Correctly labelling finished product
• Reporting any issues to the supervisor

Salary:
From $20.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:

Covid or not, personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (masks, hair net, lab coat, gloves, and shoe coverings) while working in the production room.
