Assignment:

Fulltime 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position
Duties to commence August 30, 2023 and continue for the remainder of the 2023/2024 school year
To provide support and assistance to students in a classroom, small group and individualized settings

Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs would be considered an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Willingness to work in an active, teamorientated learning environment
Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
