Job Profile:

This position reports to the Supervisor of Sport Development and Facility Bookings.

The administrative service representative role will provide positive and professional administrative support to the sport and facility bookings operations ensuring good customer service for internal and external customers and assisting others in the service areas under their portfolio.


This position is responsible for the following duties:

What you will be doing:


  • Works daily with expected or legislated deadlines
  • Ensures positive and professional customer service for internal and external customers regarding facility rentals
  • Monitoring and editing of current web content
  • Research and analysis of data primarily using excel and Activenet Reports i.e. monthly statistics,
  • Reviews and processes claims, invoices, journal entries, permits etc.
  • Records management for the division
  • Scheduling and coordinating of meetings, room bookings & events (could include evenings)
  • Creation and distribution of materials
  • Ensures financial requirements are adhered to
  • Responsible for formatting/entry of applicable divisional Policies and Procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education:

College Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration or similar.


Experience and Knowledge:

  • Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training Certificate from the Ministry of Labour


Your compensation:


The ASR positions are within Grade 5 of the inside workers union Salary Schedule and has an annual salary range of $55,617 to $59,112.


Location of position:

This position is located at Cambridge City Hall, 50 Dickson St, Cambridge, Ontario.


Hours of work:


This position works 35 hours per week and can be scheduled any time between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm, Monday to Sunday in accordance with the collective agreement.
