What You'll Do
Lead & Scale Engineering
- Own engineering execution across product, platform, and data teams
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering managers and senior technical leaders
- Establish delivery discipline, predictability, and quality across releases
Drive Technical Strategy
- Partner with Product and Executive Leadership to define the technical roadmap
- Guide architectural decisions across cloud-native services, integrations, and data pipelines
- Balance innovation with enterprise-grade reliability and performance
Accelerate Delivery with AI
- Introduce and scale practical use of AI tools across the SDLC (code generation, testing, observability, internal tooling)
- Ensure AI adoption follows strong governance, security, and data-privacy standards
Operate in a Mission-Critical Environment
- Ensure systems meet high standards for availability, performance, and security
- Support enterprise customers in regulated healthcare environments
- Lead modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives
Build Culture
- Create an engineering culture centered on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with senior leadership responsibility
- Proven success leading product-focused engineering teams in SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background in high-availability or regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, data platforms, etc.)
- Comfortable operating in growth-stage environments with evolving priorities
- Experience modernizing platforms and improving delivery velocity at scale
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled platforms or developer productivity tooling is a strong plus

Salary range - $160,000 – $220,000 CAD, plus bonus and/or equity, depending on experience and scope.
