Moving Office Locations:

We will be moving our office location in January 2024. The new office will be located at Yonge and Bloor. You will be expected to attend meetings at the new location once a month.

You will succeed at the College if you are:

Excellent Communicator - you will be communicating with your DEI team, vendors, and facilitators. Your verbal style must be confident, reassuring, and clear


Organized - you are self motivated and manage your time well. As one of the key "go to" people for the DEI team you must be able to organize and reorganize your day to meet often conflicting priorities and deadlines


Detail Orientated - you have fast and accurate typing skills, and you can proof your own work. You can successfully manage projects and proficiently analyze results


The Position:


You will support the DEI Officer with the execution of projects to further the College's strategic goals around DEI and help ensure the public and employees are treated fairly.

The position reports to the DEI Officer and you will be working with a dynamic three-person team.


What you will be responsible for:


Project work:


  • Supporting the development and implementation of surveys with patients to determine if they face any barriers to accessing the services provided by CASLPO
  • Reviewing internal documents to determine the appropriateness of gender questions
  • Supporting the development and implementation of surveys on cultural, religious and/or other needs to support an inclusive employment environment
  • Coordinating the delivery and placement of public awareness materials (brochures, pamphlets, posters) into community centres or other diverse public locations
  • Reviewing the registration processes to determine if any barriers exist for potential registrants

Administrative tasks:


  • Scheduling and supporting meetings with the DEI staff working group
  • Organizing meetings with potential vendors and facilitators
  • Supporting the delivery of the College's DEI web series (knows as E-Forums)
  • Scheduling and posting the web recordings
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional and engaging manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all administrative tasks and communications
  • Proactive approach to work and independent problemsolving skills
  • Previous project management experience an asset
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work effectively
  • Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills, ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize


  • Advanced computer skills

  • MS Office, Zoom, MS Teams, and webbased document collaboration platforms

Preferred Education and Work Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience
  • Postsecondary degree or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience working for a not for profit, regulatory or health care environment an asset
  • Fluency in French is an asset
