We are looking for an experienced Leasing Agent to join our Residential team. If you are a detail-oriented professional administrator looking for a fun, hardworking and collaborative team that supports learning and continuous improvement, we want to meet you

Summary:

The Leasing Agent reports directly to the Manager, Residential Property Management

Qualifications:

Valid class 5 drivers license and access to a vehicle is mandatory.
High School Diploma, Certificate, or G.E.D. or equivalent.
1+ years of proven working experience as Leasing Agent and/or a proven track record of reaching sales goals.
Patience to understand client needs and company needs; ability to actively listen; ability to use positive language.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written with all levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to be a mature and selfmotivated team player with good conflict resolution and the intention to create positive working relations.
Committed to personal growth and integrity aligned with Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson's objectives.
Ability to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of units and buildings of interest.
Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospective tenants.
Collect security deposits and rental payments.
Stay knowledgeable about the property portfolio and its market status.
