Brandt is currently seeking an Inventory & Rental Coordinator for our Brampton Positioning Technology division.
The Inventory and Rental Coordinator position is designed to improve our operational efficiency in our Positioning Technology Operations in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. Based out of our Brampton location, you will be a key part of the Inventory and Rental management of our assets across Central and Eastern Canada. Working closely with our operations, you will ensure that the branches have the inventory they need, when they need it while increasing our inventory turns and reducing our risk of managing our rental fleet, you will be tasked with optimizing our customer rental experience by ensuring our rental fleet is "rent ready" and can be dispatched directly to our customers for immediate use in the field monitoring customer demand, utilization, and compliance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnerwith our internal and external customers
·Identify inventory items for purchase or reorder
oInitiate Purchase orders
oPlace Orders with the Corporate Parts team
oRespond to Branch requests for all required parts orders
oEnsure items with long lead times are ordered in sufficient time to meet their demand
oPerform parts inventory stock leveling between branches
·Partner with key stakeholders across the Brandt network to respond quickly to changing requirements
·Recommend enhancements to systems and processes as a part of continuous improvement initiatives
oIdentify and recommend adjustments to specific inventory levels
·Monitor Branch Open Transfers and Receiving activities to insure procedural compliance
·Monitor existing rental pool to ensure they are properly PDI'ed and "rent ready"
·Ensure proper paperwork and credit references are in place before rentals On receipt of completed rental- confirm accessories are complete and in working order.
Invoice missing or damaged items
·Manage ongoing relationship with key vendors
·Other Duties as assigned
Required Experience
·3-5 years of relevant parts experience and/or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Mathematics, Analytics, or similar discipline would be considered an asset
·Excellent aptitude for deep dive data analysis to derive meaningful business insights
·Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
·Exceptional forecasting ability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
·Ability to contribute to process improvement in regards to parts processes
·Ability to multitask with a strong work ethic
