Overview

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team on a maternity leave contract. This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression, delivering exceptional client care, and supporting the smooth daily operations of our office.

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and confident managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients warmly and create a positive first impression at the front desk
  • Check clients in and out for appointments and assist with rebooking
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and book appointments
  • Manage daily appointment schedule and support smooth clinic flow
  • Process payments and handle basic POS transactions
  • Maintain client records and update information in the booking system
  • Keep the reception and retail area clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Provide information about services, products, and promotions
  • Support the team with light administrative tasks and daily operations
  • Ensure clients feel comfortable, cared for, and well supported during their visit
  • Light cleaning duties

Requirements

  • Previous clerical, reception, or administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and booking or office software systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional communication skills and confident phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
  • Experience with scheduling systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
