CAD Technician
The CAD Technician is responsible for providing exceptional client care while providing clients with materials lists and shop drawings.

What You Will Do:

Produce materials estimate & shop drawings from PDF, DWG & RVT drawings.
Produce install manual drawings, technical library drawings, and other clientrelated drawings in CAD & Revit.
Handle administrative duties (e.g. updating digital files, answering phone calls, etc.)
Coordinate with designers, technicians & other personnel to incorporate concepts & information into presentation packages.
Review drawings with construction teams and engineers & provide adjustments as necessary.
Aid in increasing & maintaining quality assurance processes.
Maintain a high standard of product knowledge.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Building Construction Technology, Architectural and Building Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD.
Expertise in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and various other construction documentation.
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of Stack, Bluebeam, or other estimating software is a plus.
Revit experience a plus.
Building envelope knowledge is a plus.

Salary:
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
