Role overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer who will be responsible for creating external and internal applications of various purposes and volumes and developing scalable products that increase the entire system's functionality.

What you'll do

• Developing technical designs for applications in Java
• Should have working experience with the Azure Cloud platform.
• Providing troubleshooting services as needed.
• Testing out code across various devices to ensure quality across all platforms.
• Experience and proficiency in microservice development.
• Hands-on GraphQL, NodeJS, Azure and Azure DevOps and Typescript knowledge and working experience.

What you bring to the role

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer and proficiency in
• Experience in building back-end API using Nodejs and TypeScript
• The primary focus is on developing backend services in Azure.
• Experienced with test automation framework for unit testing and integration testing as a part of API Development
• Experience with DevOps methodology using tech stack Git GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps cloud services
• Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management) (Identity and Access Management) and access privileges at various levels of account – Tenant, Subscription, Resource Group, and Resource.

Must have skills

• Building backend API using Nodejs and Type Script
• Experience in Azure Cloud platform.
• DevOps methodology using tech stack Git GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps cloud services
• Knowledge on IAM (Identity and Access Management)

Working arrangements

Hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this hybrid position requires two days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga, ON.
