Position Overview:


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Design test plans, conduct user testing and report on the findings
  • Plan and execute quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to get contextual feedback for product improvements
  • Utilize research to help set strategy and plan projects by providing insight into products, competitors, and customers
  • Use a variety of research methods to gain user insights into the motivations and behaviour of our current and prospective users
  • Design test plans, conduct user testing and report on the findings
  • Communicate and summarize research findings to all interested stakeholders
  • Generate monthly reporting from Google Analytics and internal transactional data to identify trends or changes in our customer base
  • Coach UX design team on research methodologies and best practices
  • Identify new market opportunities and trends to support long term, sustainable growth

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications or Research related fields
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to translate business objectives into research steps
  • Experience pulling out insights from various research reports to make UX recommendations
  • Ability to gather data from various sources (internal and external) and find patterns/trends
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience converting complex data into digestible tables, graphs, and written reports
  • Excellent planning, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Experience in UX and UI specific research, usability studies, unmoderated user tests is an asset
