Key Responsibilities

Ensure resident issues and service requests are addressed within 24 hours (minor repairs and maintenance tasks)
Comply with regular fire safety and life safety standards including keeping fire, Riskcheck, maintenance and preventative maintenance logs up to date, as well as completing and holding fire drills
Ensure the property and grounds are kept clean daily in accordance with company standards. In addition, at certain times, they will be required to perform snow/ ice removal from walkways, handling garbage and recycling.
General maintenance of common areas (repairing leaky taps, clogged drains, or installing ceiling fixtures)
Supervise service providers and contractor's, oversee quality of work performed until completion of job

Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of all maintenance systems (pumps, emergency generators, HVAC, boilers, chillers, swimming pool, sprinklers, etc.)
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to perform minor repairs and aptitude for mechanical systems
Must be able to lift and push heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances or perform snow removal duties
