The Outdoor Events team is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and testing of all the jumps, rails and snow features in our terrain park.

Our terrain park crew will be working very closely with the outdoor events team as we host a variety of events from entry-level slopestyle/rail jams, all the way up to national level boarder cross and ski cross races.

Position Requirements/Skills:

Good Communication skills
Intermediate/advanced Riding/ skiing skills
Focused and determined individuals with a great attention to detail
The ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for long hours
Previous outdoor events experience considered an asset
Audio/PA equipment and/or Emcee experience considered an asset
Providing our guests with great customer service, and a unique visitor experience

Power tools/landscaping experience considered an asset

Work day and evening shifts. The number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends, holidays and events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Representing Big White Ski Resort in a mature and professional manner
The building, set up, execution and tear down of an outdoor event site
To ensure utmost safety and awareness of our participants
Assisting with terrain park operations including park set up, maintenance, and breakdown on an as needed basis.
Interact with customers on a daily basis to educate and inform them of rules and etiquette of outdoor events and terrain parks & safety tips
