SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
Do you have a proven ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, work with a high sense of urgency and build strong, productive relationships?

We are looking for motivated and talented students who are driven to succeed. At JLL we provide students with real work experience and the opportunity to learn from the very best through our Summer Internship Program (fixed-term, paid internship from May 1-September 1, Gain valuable experience while working for one of Canada's largest commercial real estate companies

Project Management
Support Senior Project Managers (SPM) and Project Managers (PM) throughout the project lifecycle
Regularly proactively communicating with your SPM/PM.
Achieving project goals and criteria to satisfy client expectations.
Coordinating the activities of owners/clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Maintaining specified project management processes.
Managing our project management technology, Clarizen.
Documenting and controlling project scope and changes to the specified level of quality.
Maintaining a project control budget and baseline schedule aligned to scope.
Controlling cost and schedule and documenting Cost Saves.
Tracking project risks in the Risk Register.
Coordinating and attending project meetings, generating meeting minutes, and preparing progress reports.
Maintaining complete and accurate project documentation, easily retrievable and suitable for audit.
Troubleshooting and problem solving

Team Management
Fostering an ethical environment of accountability, excellence, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Adhering to JLL PDS expectations, policies, best practices, procedures, and methodologies.
Energizing and supporting others on your team.

Operational Management
Supporting JLL's project team to exceed our financial performance and client satisfaction targets.
Managing invoice distribution and AR collections within the contracted timelines.

Relationships
Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders
Building trust with clients, owners, landlords, tenants, developers, consultants, and contractors.
Obtaining a client survey, testimonial, and reference at or near project completion.

Growth
Networking and positioning JLL as a leader in project management services.
Participate in weekly team meetings, intern meetings and mentor/mentee meetings
Complete end of the year internship pitch presentation to panel


QUALIFICATIONS
Engineering, Architecture, Construction Sciences, Real Estate Studies or similarly applicable degree in progress to apply.
Interpersonal, articulate, responsive, and highly organized.
