    About This Role

    • Individual contributor sales manager with a hunter mentality, selling proprietary technology via web presentations and phone using standard sales methodologies.
    • Main point of contact for customers, working closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention and new incremental sales through prospecting and farming activities.
    • Proven history of bringing in new business, excelling at account management and meeting daily and monthly metrics.

    How Is Success Measured

    • Use lead sources to approach prospective businesses and schedule web presentations with qualified decision makers.
    • Engage with decision makers in dormant accounts to initiate farming activities.
    • Present proposals that showcase Verdant's value proposition to drive sales.
    • Follow up with clients and prospects via email, phone and onsite visits to guide them to the next step.
    • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM and internal tools for the shortest sales cycle.
    • Understand client business objectives and cycles to identify portfolio opportunities and drive growth.
    • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Participate in face‑to‑face selling at 2–4 trade shows per year.
    • Compete as a sales leader while maintaining a collaborative mindset.

    Required Education, Experience & Skills

    • 3 years of inside B2B sales experience and account management, selling over the phone or web.
    • Cold calling experience.
    • Strong record of meeting sales goals within a sales team.
    • Self‑starter capable of creatively and consistently bringing new business without micromanagement.
    • Quick learner who excels with new markets, products and technology.
    • Business savvy and sense of urgency to guide prospects through longer sales cycles.
    • Comfortable with analytics and spreadsheets.
    • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills; role primarily supports U.S. based customers.
    • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.

    Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

    • Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
    • Trade show experience.
    • Experience with any CRM (Salesforce).
    • Knowledge of construction industry.
    • Bi‑lingual (English/French).

    Hybrid Work Arrangement


    This role is hybrid eligible, requiring presence in the office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration‑first mindset, allowing flexible adjustment of hybrid days to meet business needs.
