This position could be based in Montreal or Toronto
Primary job responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist with the launching, marketing, distribution, contracting and settlement of equity new issues to the NBF retail platform
- Assist advisors with the settlements of selling group participation
- Coordinate the distribution, completion, review, contracting and settlement of private placements
- Handle communications activities with other investment dealers, the NBF retail wealth management, CIB and legal advisors
- Manage and maintain inventories of equity and broker warrants on behalf of ECM and advisors
- Coordinate activities with Reorg, Compliance and with other wealth oversight groups
- Assist with market research and data analytics initiatives

Competencies required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 5 years of pertinent experience
- Bilingual for dealing with Englishspeaking partners outside Quebec
- Ability to handle adversity and conflicting perspectives
- Ability to work in a time sensitive and, at times, stressful environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong capabilities with the Microsoft suite of software, especially Excel
- Canadian Securities Course & Conduct and Practices Course considered an asset
