Job Summary
The Junior Document Control Analyst reports to the Project Lead of Document Control and Document Control Manager. Key duties include receiving, quality checking, logging tracking transmitting engineering-generated and vendor documentation in an Electronic Data Management System (EDMS)Maintaining controlling files for all project documentation on the network driveHandling processing distributing incoming communications from in-house disciplines vendors ensuring deadlines are metSetting up tracking distributing multi-discipline squad checks for vendor engineering documentationMaintaining document records in Client databases as per client-specific project-specific requirementsWhen required handling hard copy of documentation scanning printing destruction lifting heavy boxes is required sometimesCompleting document control project work to Clients Company deadlines processesPerforming other duties as requestedRequirements
- High School Diploma supplemented by related post-secondary education experience
- Entry level position years previous data entry document control experience
- Must possess superior attention detail strong work ethic proactiveExcellent written verbal communication skillsAbility set priorities multitaskSolid computer skills including experience MS Office Excel Adobe Acrobat DC BluebeamPrevious work Aconex considered advantagePrevious work engineering companies plusBeginner intermediate working knowledge engineering terminology various types of engineering documents plus
