Job Overview:


As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for inspection of processes and products to make sure all products meet the order specifications.

This position will also have responsibilities related to inventory control and cycle counts.

  • Review project related work instructions and other documentation to ensure they meet standard procedures and quality standards prior to the project commencing.
  • Develop project specific inspection forms based on approved project specifications and work instructions.
  • Conduct inprocess quality checks to ensure work instructions are being followed correctly.
  • Conducts thorough reviews or orders and paperwork to ensure all products are accurate and correct as per the paperwork. Includes conducting visual analysis of labels, packaging, products, and paperwork to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Inspect finished orders and the related documentation to ensure the final product matches the specifications prior to shipment to customer.
  • Report, document, and investigate nonconformances to identify and address root cause.
  • Document, report and investigate customer complaints to identify root cause and implement corrective action. Escalate customer related issues to Supervisor and/or Project Manager so they can be addressed accordingly
  • Generate daily/weekly reports as per requirements identified for the project.
  • Ensures products are quality reviewed in a timely manner to avoid unreasonable delays or backlogs. Prioritize workflow to meet customer commitments and communicates when a commitment is not going to be met
  • Perform inventory control duties including cycle counts and physical inventories

Qualifications and Skills:


  • IT Industry knowledge is preferred
  • Strong computer skills. Ability to create macros would be an asset
  • ISO 9001 knowledge would be a bonus
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Positive attitude and able to work well within a team environment.

Physical Demands:


  • Lifting (25 lbs or less)
  • Stooping, bending, standing, and sitting throughout the day

Job Types:

Pay:
$18.75-$19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
